We feel so fortunate to know the Shelton family and to have photographed both Lindsay and her sister’s weddings. Both days stand out in my mind as two remarkable unions and two of the most unforgettable weddings we’ve had the pleasure to photograph.
My favorite moments…. just as Lindsay showed the first signs of nervousness before the ceremony her dad reached out and touched her hand… a perfect moment and photograph. Two more… bursting through a paper banner to enter the reception with the TCU Horned Frog in attendance… and last but not least we were taking some bridal portraits outside the chapel before the ceremony and I needed a gust of wind to pick up her veil and out of no where it arrived, just a little kiss of wind when we needed it.
Drew and Lindsay were married at Perkins Chapel on SMU’s campus this past Saturday and held their reception at The Belo Mansion and Pavilion. The day was coordinated by Kay Watson Events and the design and floral was done by Bella Flora. Emerald City Band was amazing as always and Video was Khoi at Pro Edit Productions. Cake was Frosted Art , Susie Gray Uphues was the makeup artist and of course we did the stills 🙂
